Wind Restoration

On July 22, 2008, Millie Gilmore’s 40 year old home was destroyed as a storm blew through Terrace Park Ohio. As a result of the storm, a tree fell on Millie’s home, literally splitting the home in half, damaging shingles, sheathing, trusses, wall framing and electrical lines. APEX Restoration restored and updated Millie’s home and added an amenity for her own safety and well being. The entire project was completed October 17, 2008 and Millie is a very satisfied APEX customer!

Fire Restoration

Unfortunately, a fire in an attic left a home almost irreparable. The homeowners received Apex’s information from their son. APEX completed a fire board up (Emergency mitigation) and then proceeded to completely repair and restore the home like new again!

Water Restoration

As this house sat empty and on the market for sale, the homeowner received a letter from the water company notifying them of a shut off. The water company had shut the water off after 250k gallons pumped through the house over a two week period. The homeowner drove by and saw from the front of the house and knew something was terribly wrong. He called his insurance company who told him they would send a contractor out to start the mitigation process. Apex performed the emergency water mitigation and then proceeded to complete the repairs and completely transformed the home.

Wind / Commercial - Consolidated Second Baptist Church

On August 22, 2008, Consolidated Second Baptist Church began the process of replacing their entire roof structure. The building was more than one hundred years old at the time and the pastor was concerned they might not be able to rebuild, given the structure damage and its age. Due to the height of the building APEX brought in a crane to complete the necessary work. APEX Restoration worked diligently to maintain the original design along with the mortise and tenon joints. The small town of Warsaw, Kentucky was very involved and offered much needed support during this project.
